This CEU course will introduce advanced pharmacological studies of commonly used Chinese herbs. This topic provides pharmacological research results about Chinese herbs’ Si Qi (temperature) and Wu Wei (five tastes), Chinese herbs’ toxicology and side-effects. This lecture will cover the traditional Chinese herbal functions, pharmacological effects of herbs, clinical herbal combinations, and Herb-Drug interactions. The knowledge discussed in this course will allow the Acupuncture practitioner not only to understand the traditional herbal functions but also to identify pharmacological effects of herbs, clinical herbal combinations, herbal toxicology, herbal side-effects, and Herb-Drug interactions. Advanced Specialty Training in Beijing

In March 2009, Beverly Hills Acupuncture & Herbology Training center is proud to offer a specialty training opportunity at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. Acupuncturists or Students who had participated in our center’s CEU courses are able to participate in two weeks of intensive training in Integrative Medicine of Gynecology, Neurology, Orthopedics, and Pain Control at major hospitals in Beijing, China.

This intensive and exciting overseas training program will provide participants hands on experience in the Gynecology, Neurology, and Orthopedics Hospitals in Beijing by practicing Acupuncture, Herbal Prescriptions, TuiNa, etc. All of these valuable experiences will undoubtedly benefit your own practice here in the States.

Upon successful completion of the training program, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China.

Travel accommodations will be taken care of by our center. You will be housed in four star hotels and have many opportunities for sightseeing, climbing the Great Wall of China, seeing the Beijing Opera, traveling around Beijing, and experiencing life in China.

The fee of this program will fluctuate with airline, hotel, and tuition prices.
